Absolute Aqua Vet+ Trichodina Treatment

Absolute Aqua-Vet+ Trichodina is an effective medication when used to target treat a specific Parasite species. Absolute Aqua-Vet+ Trichodina is a powerful chitin inhibitor. This treatment contains a very powerful oxidising agent that works by oxidising dissolved organic materials. Please note this medication will affect the nitrification cycle so be sure to carry out regular water tests. This treatment will turn the pond water purplish/brown and can be reversed with Cloverleaf Absolute Aqua Vet+ Hydrogen Peroxide Six.

How To Use:
Shake bag first to de-compact medication before measuring. Add correct amount to a clean watering can of 1ltr of just-boiled kettle water and using an airstone bubble the solution for 20mins before adding to the pond. For best results add to the pond late in the afternoon. Do not overdose or use in ponds that contain Salt, Formaldehyde or Formalin.

Recommended Dosage:
Add 10g per 100gal (454L) of pond water. Turn off Ultraviolet sterilisers then add the correct amount of medication to a watering can with 2L of pond water and distribute contents evenly across the surface of the pond. Safe to turn Ultraviolet sterilisers back on after day 7. 

Note:
- When using with river type fish such as Orfe and Rudd ensure extra oxygen is provided.
- Do not use any other medications for 10 days after adding this treatment.
- Not recommended for use with ponds containing Sturgeon.
